1. When is registration?
Registration is completely online and is held every Wednesday but will change to Tuesday starting in July 2021. the instructions and link are below. You can also upload your documentation that you will need to determine if you are eligible for our program.
In order to register for our program, we require you to complete the 1st step by clicking on the link below! Select the button that says “Create an Account!” with the following link to start!

Once you complete the online registration will able to schedule an appointment with a Crossroads team member through your OneFlow account. Follow the steps needed on the left hand side of your account with the title “My Roadmap (All Steps)” to complete all the steps of your registration!
In the fall of 2021, registration may take place at the Education Service Center, Region 2 on the first floor on Monday – Thursday, from 9 am, to 3 pm. However this option is still not available at this time.
Also, registrations may be conducted at our outside sites in the Fall of 2021 along with orientations so keep checking our site for updates and sites that will be opening for face-to-face classes.
Orientation schedule can be found on the Important Dates page. At orientation incoming students will be provided program information and start the registration process.

2. When will classes begin?
Face to face classes, virtual classes, and online classes are scheduled to begin at regular intervals throughout the eleven county region. Be sure to sign up for updates on location and times of orientation and class start up at: https://crossroads.esc2.net/
4. If I was a student in the High School Equivalency (GED) program at Del Mar College, will I have to start all over?
You may need to re-register if you do not have an online account with Crossroads. If you were active in the program within the last 90 days, you should be able to pick up where you left off. Call 361-561-8488 during office hours to speak with our staff about your status.
5. What days and times will classes be offered?
Classes will be offered Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-12:00pm and from 6:00pm-9:00pm. We will also offer classes on Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm.
6. How much does it cost to attend HSE classes?
There is no tuition to attend classes.

7. What are High School Equivalency courses?
High School Equivalency courses, formerly known as GED courses, are classes that will aid you in gaining the necessary skills to complete the GED or HiSET exams.
8. What is the difference between the GED test and the HiSet test?

9. What is expected of me if I enroll in classes?
Students are expected to show up to classes on time, be ready and willing to work, complete homework assignments, and keep a positive attitude.
10. What if I don’t want to get my HSE?
If getting your HSE is not your goal, then you will not be required to get one. We are here to assist you with all your educational goals. We offer assistance with preparing for entry to training and to college.
11. What other classes are offered?
In addition to the HSE classes, we will also offer: Family Literacy, English as a Second Language, Career Training, and Texas Success Initiative (TSI) preparation classes.
12. Will I be able to ride the bus for free?
Students will be able to receive a reduced rate to ride the bus. $.25 for peak hours and $.10 for non-peak hours. if you need assistance with transportation you may speak with the Career Navigator.
13. Why do I need to subscribe to the mailing list?
You should sign up on our mailing list to receive the most up to date information on our program. We will soon be offering opportunities to receive free college course credit and certificate level training. Be sure to sign up for more info.
14. How can I get a letter showing proof of enrollment?
Students needing verification of enrollment will be provided with the documentation they need once they have completed 12 hours of direct contact. Please be sure to request the information in advance of your court date as we need at least 48 hours to process any requests for letters.
15. How long does it take to get your High School Equivalency?
Every student is different. How long it will take for you to get your HSE will depend on:

- Attendance and participation
- Study time and efforts completed outside the classroom
